2nd
Annual Golf Tournament was a Big Success!
On July 14th, 2001, an enthusiastic group of veterans and rookies
gathered for the 2nd annual RCF golf tournament at
Brock Golfland in St. Catharines, Ontario. The tournament was held to raise funds for
the Palliative Care Program at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in St. Catharines,
Ontario.
Sixty golfers played in this year's tournament, which was an increase of almost 25% from last
year. Everyone had a great time and nearly $3,000 was raised in golf fees and
donations. It was a gorgeous day and everyone who turned out had a great time. We're
already looking forward to next year's event and we hope that you'll join us and
have some fun for a very good cause!!

And the winners were... Larry Black (58, men's low

The team competition was won by foursome of Pete McBride, John Rhodes,

And, for the first time in tournament history, the male and female awards in a

walked away with the Most Honest Golfer awards!!
